Luminair v3.7.1 was released today and adds support for 2018 11″ and 12.9″ iPad Pro devices. These are the first iPad devices without a Home button, and just like with the iPhone ‘X’ series, Luminair adapts it’s user interface accordingly.
Also new in v3.7.1 are profiles for Astera AX1 Tube, AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX10, profiles for new Kino Flo LED fixtures, as well as the option to extend fade times up to 24 hours.
Celebrating 10 years of Luminair on iOS! Yes, 10 years. It’s hard to believe, but Luminair 1.0 for iPhone was released on the App Store back in July 2008!
Thanks to a forward-thinking group of users (you!), we’ve been able to grow from a small little utility all the way to a full-featured platform which thousands of creative pros rely on every day.
We originally had wanted to make this a big post looking back at the history of Luminair, but we believe in looking forward to the future rather than concentrating on the past. Needless to say, looking back at the amazing projects you’ve used Luminair on has been beyond inspirational.
So what’s next? (more…)
Today we’ve released Luminair 3.6 with official support for iOS 11. This new update adds support for Drag and Drop between apps, making it easier then ever to assign and edit the images and icons used to customize Luminair’s user interface. Watch the video above to see the drag and drop workflow in action.
Luminair v3.4.1 is now available on the App Store. This release adds support for iOS 10, new ARRI SkyPanel profiles, and a new 2-finger gesture to instantly bump scenes on a temporary basis.
New in v3.4.1:

– Luminair Remote for Apple Watch updated for newest version of watchOS
– Added a new two-finger tap/hold gesture on scene buttons to “instantly” bump levels on a temporary basis
– Added new fixture profiles for ARRI SkyPanel v2 firmware

PSA: User experience is important to us. If you ever encounter any problems or issues, please get in touch with email@example.com so we can help.
If you enjoy using Luminair, please let others know by leaving a nice review on the App Store, so that others may more easily find and discover the app. It really helps! Thank you!
November is here, and so is Luminair 3.1 for iPad Pro!
We’ve been hard at work optimizing Luminair to take advantage of the larger screen real estate, by adding features like iOS 9 multitasking and improving general app scaling. This means that you now have more faders and buttons at your immediate disposal on iPad Pro, for a more comfortable experience.
You also now have ability to run the app side by side with other iOS apps on all supported iPad models, so you can do things like reference design notes and so much more without ever leaving Luminair.
Today is the day! Luminair 3 is now available across the globe on Apple’s App Store. Luminair 3 is a brand new app for all iOS 8 devices with a redesigned user interface, LTP faders, a movement generator/FX engine, built-in Scheduling, Luminair Remote for Apple Watch, MIDI over Bluetooth LE, and tons of other new features and improvements.
Full information on Luminair 3 can be found on the updated web site.
As a major new version, with over a year in development time and resources, Luminair 3 is a brand new app. This is the first updated version to require a new purchase since the app was originally released in 2010. (more info)
A special 20%-off launch price for Luminair 3 is being offered at 79.99 USD (this price will vary depending on which country you are located in). Additional In-App purchases (Location Pro, Schedule Pro, MIDI Pro) are also being offered at special launch prices for a limited time at $9.99 USD each.
The all new Luminair 3 has been in development for over a year and is coming soon as a brand new app. This short raw video speaks for itself… IT’S ALIVE
